The FutureSense radar sensor uses 60 GHz FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) technology with advanced tracking to detect objects with high precision. It effectively suppresses cross traffic, which increases energy efficiency and extends the life of the door.

Recognition of human behavior

By recognizing human behaviour, including approach patterns and genuine access intent, the sensor determines exactly when to initiate a door opening. This intelligence helps to avoid unnecessary openings and ensures more efficient, reliable door operation.

State-of-the-art sensor technology

FutureSense is a multi-dimensional radar sensor for swing and revolving doors. Its latest door activation technology based on FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) enables the analysis of human behavior. The cutting-edge software continuously tracks human movement parameters such as approach, direction and speed to detect genuine access intent.

Object tracking

FutureSense goes beyond the conventional technology of door activation sensors, which is based on the interpretation of signals and the movement of target objects. In true object tracking, the sensor uses information such as position, speed and direction based on the behavior of the object.

Analysis of human behavior

This data is then used to identify the approach and any intention to gain access. In combination with several configurable parameters, the sensor determines whether and when the door should be opened.

Extended cross-traffic suppression

New technology suppresses cross traffic more effectively. All disturbances without movement towards the door are ignored.

Simple installation and setup

Intuitive setup

The FutureSense app guides installers and service technicians through the basic application settings to configure the sensor quickly and effortlessly. The app connects securely to the FutureSense sensor and all changes are saved immediately. The sensor’s LEDs flash to indicate an active connection.

Adjustments in real time

Parameters such as installation position, detection area and exclusion zones are set directly in the app and can be updated at the same time. Real-time status updates and notifications keep the user informed and ready to respond. The app also allows you to update the sensor’s firmware and access manuals directly.
