Rapid activation

The combination sensor has a wide radar field for rapid activation. A double-row active infrared curtain detects people and vehicles in the vicinity of the door.

Reliable & sustainable

In its detection field, the sensor distinguishes vehicles from people and reliably suppresses them and cross traffic. Helios 2T therefore reduces the door opening times, noticeably reduces the building’s energy consumption and makes a decisive contribution to sustainability.

Mobile app and user-friendly design

Helios 2T can be conveniently adjusted using the mobile app. The app can be downloaded free of charge for iOS and Android. The user interface is self-explanatory and available in seven languages.

The compact design of the sensor makes installation quick and easy. The radar and AIR fields are precisely positioned independently of each other with the help of the fixing screws on the side of the housing and a clearly recognizable scale.

The plug-in connection cable also reduces the installation effort. An LED ring on the device serves as visual feedback, indicating the operating status of the sensor at all times.

Flexible adaptation depending on the application

Every application has its own requirements. Helios 2T meets these diverse requirements with flexibly positionable and expandable sensor detection fields.

For example, individual AIR points can be switched on or off via the app. Its additional AUX output offers the option of connecting an optional warning device. If a vehicle is detected in the early detection field in front of the building, Helios 2T activates a connected warning light. This warns of the approaching vehicle in the interior before the door opens to prevent possible collisions.

Professional energy-saving functions

Long door open times waste a lot of energy in industrial buildings. Helios 2T offers three functionalities that significantly reduce the building’s energy consumption:

Cross-traffic suppression, object and direction detection. Cross-traffic suppression and direction detection prevent false openings, e.g. due to vehicles maneuvering in the detection field. Object detection diverts people who do not necessarily have to use the door to side doors or wicket doors.
