Virtual loop radar sensor for vehicle detection
EasyLoop
The EasyLoop is a state-of-the-art virtual loop sensor for vehicle detection, designed to efficiently manage entrances and exits in parking lots, commercial areas and beyond. Thanks to FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) radar technology and compact design, it ensures reliable and accurate detection, even in the most adverse conditions.
Universal vehicle detector
EasyLoop combines advanced radar technology with a compact design to provide a reliable and accurate vehicle detection solution. The 79 GHz millimeter wave radar sensor reliably monitors vehicle movements at entrances and exits.
Activation
Used in various applications as an activation sensor for ticket systems at barriers in parking or toll systems and on sliding gates. To control access accordingly, operators can use adjustable sensitivity parameters to specify whether EasyLoop should be triggered by vehicles and pedestrians or only by vehicles. The uni- and bidirectional detection prevents tailgating and unauthorized access.
Presence detection
Is used to safeguard various types of barrier and prevents any contact with vehicles, pedestrians or objects. EasyLoop can be used to activate or detect the presence of the following barrier types: Simple barriers Articulated/folding boom barriers Barriers with hanging/barrier grid
Simple installation, reliable operation
Reliable in any weather
EasyLoop delivers stable, reliable all-weather performance that is unaffected by changing light conditions, ensuring reliable activation, presence detection and collision avoidance.
No induction loops required
The detection sensor uses a customizable radar field (300 cm wide, 160 cm high and up to 600 cm deep) as a virtual loop. It can be mounted either on posts or directly on the barrier housing. As no ground loops are required, no construction work is necessary and there is no risk of failure due to aged or damaged loops.
Flexible mounting and installation
In addition to the standard installation at a 90° angle, the EasyLoop can also be mounted at an angle and used in 45° mode. For maximum flexibility in any application, this software function can adjust the detection field to 400 cm x 600 cm (W x L) so that objects are detected even when mounted directly on the barrier housing. This eliminates the need for separate mounting.
Protection in the event of a power failure
If a vehicle enters or leaves the barrier during the closing process and the power supply becomes unstable or fails, the radar sends a signal to the barrier system, which holds the barrier in the open position.
EasyLoop Mobile App
The EasyLoop Mobile app makes setting up the sensor quick and effortless, giving users full control directly from their smartphone. With an intuitive user interface, real-time adjustments and easy access to documentation and firmware updates, it ensures smooth installation and maximum flexibility in any application.
