CleanSwitch was specially developed for use in buildings with strict hygiene requirements, such as healthcare facilities, sanitary areas or restaurants. With a deliberate gesture, CleanSwitch activates access without contact and otherwise keeps the door closed.
Customizing
The attractive, clear design of the CleanSwitch can be customized in various ways. On the one hand, the color, brightness and mode of the visual feedback can be changed in just a few seconds and without tools. In addition, Bircher supplies a wide range of pictograms that can be printed on the front of the device to make it more user-friendly.

Thanks to the smart system design, CleanSwitch is compatible with all standard flush-mounted boxes on the market. CleanSwitch is particularly quick and easy to install. The device settings can be made intuitively and without tools.

CleanSwitch Lock
Opening and locking doors
With a deliberate gesture, CleanSwitch Lock locks access without contact and keeps the door closed.
The contactless switch is therefore ideal for various applications where it is necessary to lock the door as well as open it. For example in healthcare facilities, laboratories and sanitary areas. The electrical connection is made simply via a potential-free output and the CleanSwitch Lock can be connected to any door control unit.
Display door statuses
By using CleanSwitch Lock in the system, the LED display of the switch can be used to indicate the door status like a traffic light control (red/green). This can be used to signal whether a WC or a lock is occupied. When locked, the activation function of the CleanSwitch is also deactivated, preventing unwanted or unintentional opening of the door. Additional components, display elements and locking systems are not required.
Familiar comfort and service
All the basic functions of the CleanSwitch are of course also available with the CleanSwitch Lock. The intuitive operation and simple handling make installation easier. Using the configuration table, you can quickly and individually adapt pictograms, housing colors, accessories and switch ranges to your needs as usual.
