Thanks to its compact design, the SpotScan fits into any installation scenario.

It is suitable for people counting and detects the presence of people or objects on escalators and in elevators. It is also used to monitor the occupancy of pedestrian and security gates.

The SpotScan is as easy to set up as it is versatile: the three DIP switches on the front of the device are used to configure the operating mode, signal output, and transmission frequency. Depending on the mounting height, the switching point of the infrared sensor can be adjusted up or down using the mechanical adjustment screw.
