Quick activation

The combination sensor features a wide radar field for rapid activation. A dual-row active infrared curtain detects people and vehicles in the immediate vicinity of the gate.

Within its detection range, the sensor reliably distinguishes between vehicles and pedestrians and filters out both, as well as cross traffic. In this way, Helios 2T reduces the gate’s open time, significantly lowers the building’s energy consumption, and makes a decisive contribution to sustainability.

Mobile app and user-friendly design

Helios 2T can be easily configured using a mobile app. The app is available for free download on iOS and Android. The user interface is intuitive and available in seven languages.

The sensor’s compact design allows for quick and easy installation. Using the side mounting screws on the housing and a clearly marked scale, the radar and AIR fields can be positioned precisely and independently of one another.

In addition, the plug-in connection cable reduces installation effort. An LED ring on the device provides visual feedback, indicating the sensor’s operating status at all times.

Flexible adaptation depending on the application

Every application has its own specific requirements. Helios 2T meets these diverse needs with sensor detection fields that can be flexibly positioned and expanded.

For example, individual AIR points can be turned on or off via the app. Its additional AUX output allows you to connect an optional warning device. If a vehicle is detected in the early detection zone in front of the building, Helios 2T activates a connected warning light. This light alerts occupants inside the building to the approaching vehicle before the gate opens, helping to prevent potential collisions.

Professional energy-saving features

Doors that remain open for long periods of time waste a lot of energy in industrial buildings. Helios 2T offers three features that significantly reduce a building’s energy consumption:

Cross-traffic suppression, object and direction detection. Cross-traffic suppression and direction detection prevent false openings, such as those caused by vehicles maneuvering within the detection field. Object detection redirects people who do not necessarily need to use the gate to side doors or wicket doors.
