Virtual loop radar sensor for vehicle detection
EasyLoop D.6
The EasyLoop is a state-of-the-art virtual loop sensor for vehicle detection, designed for the efficient management of vehicle entry and exit in parking lots, industrial parks, and beyond. Thanks to FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) radar technology and its compact design, it ensures reliable and precise detection, even under the most adverse conditions.
Universal Vehicle Detector
EasyLoop combines advanced radar technology with a compact design to provide a reliable and precise solution for vehicle detection. The 60-GHz millimeter-wave radar sensor reliably monitors vehicle movements at entrances and exits.
Activation
Used in various applications as an activation sensor for ticketing systems at barriers in parking lots or toll plazas, as well as at sliding gates. To control access accordingly, operators can use adjustable sensitivity parameters to specify whether EasyLoop should be triggered by both vehicles and pedestrians or exclusively by vehicles. Unidirectional and bidirectional detection prevents “tailgating” and unauthorized entry.
Presence detection
Used to secure various types of barriers and prevent any contact with vehicles, pedestrians, or objects. EasyLoop can be used for activation or presence detection with the following types of barriers: Simple barriers, folding-arm barriers, and barriers with hanging or barrier grilles
Easy installation, reliable operation
Reliable in any weather
EasyLoop delivers stable, reliable performance in all weather conditions, unaffected by changing light conditions, ensuring reliable activation, presence detection, and collision avoidance.
No induction loops required
The detection sensor uses a customizable radar field (300 cm wide, 160 cm high, and up to 600 cm deep) as a virtual loop. It can be mounted either on posts or directly on the barrier housing. Since no ground loops are required, no construction work is necessary, and there is no risk of failures due to aged or damaged loops.
Flexible assembly and installation
In addition to the standard 90° installation, the EasyLoop can also be mounted at an angle and used in 45° mode. For maximum flexibility in any application, this software feature can adjust the detection field to 400 cm x 600 cm (W x L), ensuring that objects are detected even when mounted directly on the barrier housing. This eliminates the need for separate mounting hardware.
Protection in the event of a power outage
If a vehicle enters or exits while the barrier is closing and the power supply becomes unstable or fails, the radar sends a signal to the barrier system, which keeps the barrier in the open position.
EasyLoop Mobile App
The EasyLoop mobile app makes setting up the sensor quick and easy, giving users full control right from their smartphone. With an intuitive user interface, real-time adjustments, and easy access to documentation and firmware updates, it ensures a smooth installation and maximum flexibility in any application.
