Opening and Locking Doors
With a deliberate gesture, CleanSwitch Lock locks the door contactlessly and keeps it closed.
The contactless switch is therefore ideal for a variety of applications where, in addition to opening the door, it is also necessary to lock it. For example, in healthcare facilities, laboratories, and restroom areas. Electrical connection is easily achieved via a potential-free output, and the CleanSwitch Lock can be connected to any door control system.
Display Door Status
By using CleanSwitch Lock in the system, the switch’s LED indicator can display the door status using a traffic-light-style system (red/green). This allows the system to indicate whether a restroom or a pass-through is occupied. When locked, the CleanSwitch’s activation function is also deactivated, thereby preventing the door from being opened unintentionally or by mistake. This eliminates the need for additional components, display elements, and locking systems.
